Advertising and Marketing
Many agents build a business on getting as many listings as they can, and marketing them with a broad approach that sells enough of the homes to pay their own bills. If you want an indication that an Orlando realtor is really dedicated to selling your home, you should ask them about their plan for marketing and advertising your home. You should do this when you first interview the agent to list your house for sale.
Does the agent cover these important marketing venues?
Many agents have access to advertising in the local papers, the local real estate magazines and flyers. You will also want to advertise to people out of state, because many houses are bought by buyers relocating to your area.
The Internet offers a very effective way to advertise to buyers from out-of-town. You'll want to know how your agent markets your home to those people, as well.
Ask the agent to see examples of his/her advertising, and also take a look at their website. Also, ask about any mailings that they do to surrounding neighbors (you never know when a neighbor may have a friend or family member wanting to move close).
And, very importantly, be sure the agent is a member of the MLS (multi listing service).
You'll want your house to get as much exposure as possible. Contact Lee Cameron, call or text him at (407) 421-1052 or email him directly to get the word out where it counts.
