Comparable Market Analysis (CMA)
Before listing your house for sale, the real estate agent will do a comparable market analysis (CMA). This will find the actual sold or selling prices of similar properties in your general area. It will examine each element that goes into determining your property's worth.
A lot of things need to be considered when doing a CMA and determining a listing price for your house. Comparisons are made to other houses that closely match your own, in your area. Square footage, number of bedrooms and baths, condition of the house and other home features will be taken into consideration.
